Marketing ideas I came across for the movie Sex and the City 2
1. Gift Bag giveaways, pre-movie champagne and snacks, dancing afterwards
2. “Sex and the City” inspired cocktails
3. Party filled with drinks, fashion, fondue and the proceeds go to the Arizona chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation
4. Sex and the City nail services
5. Mercedes-Benz is using the movie as part of the campaign for two models, they are also helping the “Dress for Success” charity by showing screenings of the movie and giving the proceeds to them
6. A hotel parties with free make overs, belly dancing, giveaways, music, and a free ride to the screening of the movie
7. Skyy Vodka released Sex and the City Two bottles
My own ideas
1. Completely recreate the movie. Have women come dressed as their favorite character. There will be a judging on who has matched the character the most. The person who wins this contest gets to meet the actress that actually played that role. Oh! Don’t tell anyone…but the actresses are all at this party anyway… maybe you will come across one of them.
2. A giant party is thrown inside of a theatre in one of the big cities. Every room will be showing the premiere of the movie and before hand there will be a giant party. There will be all of the normal things like drinks, fashion and fondue but while they are waiting for the movie each room will show bits and pieces of the film. People will have to run to the theatre they hear the sound from in hopes of getting to see a small sneak peek.
3. Throughout several fancy hotels in the United States there will be a sale that has a lot to do with Sex and the City…and this is because they will be selling off the cast’s wardrobes! This is going to be huge! People are going to be lined up so far that you cannot see to the end of the line. This will definitely hit the news.

Week 7 EOC
Vintage Ice Vodka
This premium beverage is one that upholds the taste and the experience that was launched with the original vodka itself, except that it’s even better. Everyone knows that vodka is only as good as the water that is put into it and that is why our vodka is infused with the purest water that man can find. This sparkling, clear liquid is going to be the one that you crave with its smooth excellence and its clench on your thirst. Not only that but, this is the drink that is perfect for any occasion. It stands alone, but is also made to be mixed with anything you prefer so that everybody can have their perfect drink.

Week 6 EOC
A car that folds up so you can put it into your pocket
In theory it sounds awesome right? You could just take your car anywhere without having to worry about people tampering with it or it not being there when you get back…but think about how much EASIER it would be to take now that it is small enough to fit in your hand. Not only that, but you could smash it on accident or misplace it. It would just be a disaster.
A couch with a built in ice chest
It would be awesome to just pull off the cushion of your couch and just grab a nice drink and it would work really well at first, but imagine that you are trying to use it during one of your parties and your couch is filled with people. How annoying would it be to have to ask them every time someone wanted a drink to stand up; not only would that be annoying but it would be rude.
Gooey building blocks
Yes, these building blocks would remain stuck together; you could probably stack them for miles, but what else would they stick to? Your walls? Your couch? Your television screen? They would turn out to be a parent’s nightmare. They would leave sticky residue all over the house. They would be spending a lot of money on goo be gone. What a mess!
Peanut butter flavored tooth paste
Recently I have heard that the flavor of peanut butter makes everything better. If there is peanut butter in it then it is amazing. Hm…that is interesting because when I think of brushing my teeth with peanut butter I want to throw up and I am pretty sure that I am not the only person that feels that way. We will see what happens if that product launches. (Fail miserably? I think so!)

Week 5 EOC
Toughest Ford truck ever built.
People have said that 1979 was the best year for Ford trucks and honestly, who wouldn't believe that? I'm sure you have all seen them; the tanks that roar down the road. They do not beg for attention they demand it.
America may be asking for economic and Earth friendly vehicles, but that is not what they really want. What they want is a beast. They want a powerful and spacious automobile that not only has a nice body design BUT is also fun to drive. Honestly, try to drive one of them; take them offroading and tell me that you did not have any fun driving it.
All in all what I am trying to get at here is that the 1979 Ford F-250 is THE. BEST. TRUCK. EVER.
Go get one. NOW.
